At the 10th ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) Summit in 2014, heads of states acknowledged the importance of Eco-Innovation, and they endorsed the "ASEM Working Group Seminars on Eco-innovation Competence of SMEs. On this base the ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC) and the Small Medium Business Administration of the Republic of Korea initiated the establishment of an international working group with the objective to discuss relevant issues of SME’s eco-innovation and elaborate project proposals for implementation for the next ASEM meeting in the summer of 2016 in Ulaanbaatar. Zoltan Bendo from Tenderix attended the 1st working group meeting in Seoul in November 9-10 2015 as a delegated member from Hungary. At the meeting participants discussed a number of project ideas and short-listed some of them for detailed elaboration.
