The full day event was organized by the Hungarian National Trading House aiming to provide an open discussion between the Hungarian and Serbian cluster community. Policy makers and cluster managers were both represented from the two countries. Our colleague Mátyás Somkuti delivered a presentation on the current situation of international cluster labelling in Europe.
The Hungarian cluster policy was acknowledged as an example to follow by the Serbian partners. Lack of financial sources and long term cluster development concepts were identified as the most important barriers of business cooperation at our southern neighbour.
After the workshop session B2B discussion took place among participants in the framework of a reception and business lunch.
