The INTERREG Europe project ATMforSMEs was kicked-off in Székesfehérvár in Hungary on a two-day event on 12-13 May 2016 with representatives of project partners from all over Europe. The main objective of the project is to improve the implementation of policies     addressing enterprise development or sustainable employment in the participating regions, so that they can contribute to a better access to local microfinance programs for SMEs and self-entrepreneurs.  The kick-off meeting was hosted by Fejér Enterprise Agency, the lead partner of the project. Partners introduced themselves and gave brief presentation on their profile and the baseline situation in the country/region. Partners discussed the implementation plan of the project. According to new INTERREG Europe rules, projects are implemented in two phases. Phase 1 implementation focuses on knowledge exchange and the elaboration of regional action plans. The first phase will last until March 2019. The two-year long second phase starting in April 2019 serves for the monitoring of the implementation of the action plans elaborated by each partner in the first phase. Tenderix in its capacity as a local stakeholder group member accompanied the Ministry for National Economy, Hungary at the meeting.
